Trials!
Our Beloved Rasulullaah Sallallaahu aleyhi Wasallam said:
“How wonderful is the affair of the believer, for his affairs are all good, and this applies to no one else but the believer. If some good happens to him, he is thankful for it and that is good for him. If some harm afflicts him, he bears it with patience and that is good for him.” (Muslim)
Are you thankful?
Worshipping in ease and hardship
Allah سبحانه وتعالى says in the Holy Qur’an:
"I have not created men and jinn except that they worship Me. ” [Al Dhariyat 51/56]
"Worshipping Allah سبحانه وتعالى is a duty upon a person regardless of whether one is in ease or hardship. Many people despair when they practice Islam because they do not see their lives changing for the better in dunya terms and they eventually abandon their worship. The world by its very nature is a life of trials and tribulations. Even after practising Islam one will continue to suffer afflictions and one’s life will not necessarily change to one of ease, free of all worries and concerns. However, a person is duty-bound to worship Allah سبحانه وتعالى in all circumstances".

Do good simply because it is the right thing!

Allah knows what is the best for you!

So when Allah Subhaanahu wa Ta'ala , in His Infinite Wisdom, tests us with a situation that we think is difficult or takes away something that in our mind was good for us, we need to remember that perhaps it may not be so. Perhaps if we had continued in our way, it might have been harmful for us and whatever Allah decreed for us is actually better for us, for He is All-Wise and All-Knowing. Allah says:
'...and it may be that you dislike a thing which is good for you and that you like a thing which is bad for you. Allah knows but you do not know.' (Surah Baqarah: 216)
