Worship Allah with love, fear and hope.

Bismillahi ar-Rahman ar-Rahim - In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

It is easy to love our Creator...just think about all the blessings He gives us..ability to breath, speak, feel, things we take for granted every single day. Subhan'Allah! If it was not for Allahs Mercy I would not be able to even write this message, a message that I sincerly hope will with Allah's help get to you in order to reflect over all the blessings, and feel sincere gratitude. Elhamdulillah.
We ask Allah swt to give us things, to provide us with this and that all the time. And we get almost everything we ask for. The few things we don't get, Allah swt provide us with something even better then that we asked for in the first place. Subhan'Allah this is our Lord, the Most Merciful, Ar-Rahman, Ar-Rahim. And how could we not love Him, how could we not be grateful? So for the sake of this beautiful love always do good and encourage other to do so (a reminder to myself first and foremost).

O Allah! We ask You to forgive our sins before we leave this place. Let our good efforts be met with Your gratitude, our good deeds be profitable, and our deeds successful. O You The Most Merciful. Amin!

And what about fear..If you sincerly love someone, you fear of loosing the one you love, you don't want to dissapoint or do harm to that person, am I right? How then about the fear for our Lord!? If we love Allah swt most, we don't want to do things that He dissaproves! We should not do things He dissaproves, our actions should reflect our love for Him. If we fear Allah, then we should stay away from bad actions and encourage others to stay away from them too (a reminder to myself first and foremost).

"When Allah completed the creation, He wrote in His book which is with Him on His throne, "My mercy has overcome My anger."

And hope..Allah swt says in the Quran: Say: "O My servants who have transgressed against your own souls: do not despair of God's mercy, for God forgives all sins. It is He who is the Forgiving, the Merciful." We should never lose hope, only the disbelievers lose hope in the Mercy of Allah! This is our Lord, the most Comapssionate, the most Merciful, the Almighty One. How could you not worship Him, how could you not love him!? Subhan'Allah!

O Allah! We ask You for everything that is good, in this life and the Hereafter, whether we know it or not; and we seek Your protection from everything that is bad, in this world or the Hereafter, whether we know it or not.Amin!

O Allah! Relieve the distressed ones of their worries and the oppressed ones of their troubles. Settle the debts for the indebted persons and give cure to the sick, whether they are blood brothers or brothers in Islam. Amin!

Elhamdulillah for Islam, elhamdulullah for the love!

Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah (May Allah exalt his mention and protect him from imperfection) said: "Verily Allah, the Exalted, and Glorious will say on the Day of Resurrection:

'O son of Adam, I was ill but you did not visit Me.' He would say: 'O my Rubb (Lord), how could I visit You and You are the Rubb of the worlds? Thereupon Allah would say: 'Did you not know that such and such a slave of Mine was ill but you did not visit him? Did you not realize that if you had visited him (you would have known that I was aware of your visit to him, for which I would reward you) you would have found Me with him?

O son of Adam, I asked food from you but you did not feed Me.' He would submit: 'My Rubb, how could I feed You and You are the Rubb of the worlds?' Allah would say: 'Did you not know that such and such a slave of Mine asked you for food but you did not feed him? Did you not realize that if you had fed him, you would certainly have found (its reward) with Me?

O son of Adam, I asked water from you but you did not give it to Me.' He would say: 'My Rubb, how could I give You (water) and You are the Rubb of the worlds?' Thereupon Allah would say: 'Such and such slave of Mine asked you for water to drink but you did not give it to him. Did you not realize that if you had given him to drink you would have found (its reward) with Me?'" (Muslim)

Commentary: The person who is more beneficial to the slaves of Allah is loved most by Allah. Allah likes it very much if somebody serves His creatures and treats them well. Allah will give him the best reward for it. Here, one has been urged in an effective and eloquent way to visit the sick and treat the needy nicely by offering food and drink.

Tranquility and Peace

Publicerad 2013-05-22 13:17:00 i Allmänt,

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.

1. The length of your life has already been decided upon, for everything takes places according to preordainment and decree. So there is no need to feel anxious in that regard.

2. The decision of how much sustenance any one of us receives is with Allah alone: no one else owns that sustenance or has the power to take it from you.

3. The past is gone and has taken with it its woes and miseries. It cannot return even if the whole of mankind worked as one unit to bring it back.

4. The future is from the unseen world and has not yet arrived. It brings with it matters, showing no regard to your permission or feelings, so do not call it forth until it actually arrives.

5. Doing good to others brings happiness to both the heart and the soul. A good deed provides greater benefits to the benefactor - in terms of blessings and recompense and peace - then it does to the receiver.

6. Among the noble qualities of the believer is that he doesn't concern himself with spurious criticism. No one has been saved from curses and criticism (...).

Are you truly grateful?

“If you were to count Allah's favors, you would not be able to number them; most surely humanity is very unjust, very ungrateful.” [Sūrah Ibrāhīm: 34]

How often do you think about all the blessings Allah has bestowed upon you? The answer on this question is not that often, am I right? Instead, we more often think about things we don't have or want to have. And when we do think about these things, we get sad or bitter. "Why can he/she or them have that and not me, I deserve it more." Sounds familiar?
Instead of wasting precious time and giving the shaytan opportunity to misguide you, you should remember Allahs favors upon you and be grateful! You can be truly happy only when you appriciate Allah's gifts.
(a reminder to myself first and foremost)

Remember that Allah reminds us: “And whatever good thing you enjoy, it is from Allah. Then, when misfortune reaches you, you cry out to Him for help.” [Sūrah al-Nahl: 53

He who believes in Allah and the Last Day

Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah (May Allah exalt his mention and protect him from imperfection) said: "He who believes in Allah and the Last Day, let him be hospitable to his guest; and he who believes in Allah and the Last Day, let him maintain good the ties of blood relationship; and he who believes in Allah and the Last Day, must speak good or remain silent". (Al-Bukhari and Muslim)

Commentary: This hadith is mentioned here to highlight the importance of kindness to relatives. It enjoins considerate treatment to relatives and stresses that one should maintain relationship with them at all costs. So much so that even if they misbehave and sever relations with him, one should make efforts to restore not only relationship with them but also their rights. This is what kindness to relatives really means. Islam has laid great stress on it. Relatives include both paternal and maternal relatives.

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.

64. [Mûsa (Moses)] said: "That is what we have been seeking." So they went back retracing their footsteps.

65. Then they found one of Our slaves, unto whom We had bestowed mercy from Us, and whom We had taught knowledge from Us.

66. Mûsa (Moses) said to him (Khidr) "May I follow you so that you teach me something of that knowledge (guidance and true path) which you have been taught (by Allâh)?"

67. He (Khidr) said: "Verily! You will not be able to have patience with me!

68. "And how can you have patience about a thing which you know not?"

69. Mûsa (Moses) said: "If Allâh will, you will find me patient, and I will not disobey you in aught."

70. He (Khidr) said: "Then, if you follow me, ask me not about anything till I myself mention it to you."

71. So they both proceeded, till, when they embarked the ship, he (Khidr) scuttled it. Mûsa (Moses) said: "Have you scuttled it in order to drown its people? Verily, you have committed a thing "Imra" (a Munkar - evil, bad, dreadful thing)."

72. He (Khidr) said: "Did I not tell you, that you would not be able to have patience with me?"

73. [Mûsa (Moses)] said: "Call me not to account for what I forgot, and be not hard upon me for my affair (with you)."

74. Then they both proceeded, till they met a boy, he (Khidr) killed him. Mûsa (Moses) said: "Have you killed an innocent person who had killed none? Verily, you have committed a thing "Nukra" (a great Munkar - prohibited, evil, dreadful thing)!"

75. (Khidr) said: "Did I not tell you that you can have no patience with me?"

76. [Mûsa (Moses)] said: "If I ask you anything after this, keep me not in your company, you have received an excuse from me."

77. Then they both proceeded, till, when they came to the people of a town, they asked them for food, but they refused to entertain them. Then they found therein a wall about to collapse and he (Khidr) set it up straight. [Mûsa (Moses)] said: If you had wished, surely, you could have taken wages for it!"

78. (Khidr) said: "This is the parting between me and you, I will tell you the interpretation of (those) things over which you were unable to hold patience.

79. "As for the ship, it belonged to Masâkîn (poor people) working in the sea. So I wished to make a defective damage in it, as there was a king after them who seized every ship by force.

80. "And as for the boy, his parents were believers, and we feared lest he should oppress them by rebellion and disbelief.

81. "So we intended that their Lord should change him for them for one better in righteousness and near to mercy.

82. "And as for the wall, it belonged to two orphan boys in the town; and there was under it a treasure belonging to them; and their father was a righteous man, and your Lord intended that they should attain their age of full strength and take out their treasure as a mercy from your Lord. And I did it not of my own accord. That is the interpretation of those (things) over which you could not hold patience."

Both East and West belong to Allah, so wherever you turn, the Face of Allah is there. Allah is All Encompassing, All-Knowing. (Surat al-Baqara, 115)

Allah, there is no god but Him, the Living, the Self-Sustaining. He is not subject to drowsiness or sleep. Everything in the heavens and the earth belongs to Him. Who can intercede with Him except by His permission? He knows what is before them and what is behind them but they cannot grasp any of His knowledge save what He wills. His Footstool encompasses the heavens and the earth and their preservation does not tire Him. He is the Most High, the Magnificent. (Surat al-Baqara, 255)

There is no one in the heavens and earth who will not come to the All-Merciful as a slave. He has counted them and numbered them precisely. (Surah Maryam, 93-94)

Feed your faith!

"You have 2 friends in this life; 1. Allah, and 2. Those who reminds you of Allah"

Surround yourself with people who reminds you of Allah, people who loves you for the sake of Allah alone! Brotherhood/sisterhood in faith are among the most excellent acts of worship.
Attend gatherings where Allah is praised, gatherings that will strenghten your iman. There are times when our iman is strong and times when our iman gets weak. In both cases we should put our trust in the Almighty, seek guidance and ask Him to make us of the patient and grateful ones. May Allah make us of those who He will shade with His shade on a Day when there is no shade but His. Amin!

"Feed your faith and your tears will starve to death"

The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: “Among Allah’s servants are people who are neither Prophets nor martyrs, but whom the Prophets and martyrs will deem fortunate because of their high status with Allah.”

They asked: “O Messenger of Allah! Inform us of who they are.”

He said: “They are people who loved each other for Allah’s sake, without being related to one another or being tied to one another by the exchange of wealth. By Allah, their faces will be luminous and they will be upon light. They will feel no fear when the people will be feeling fear and they will feel no grief when the people will be grieving.”
