In The Name Of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

What type of mirror are you?

It is sad how we can so easly judge others just because we heard something that maybe is not even truth. Who are we to judge, who are we to talk about someone and think that we know the best!? Who gives us the right to do so? Our tounge can be our worst enemy, so choose your words wisely!

We want Allah to have mercy upon us and forgive us, but we have such a hard time forgiving eachother. Why is that so? You would like to be forgiven when you sin and fail Allah, so why wouldn't you wish the same for your brother!? We all make mistakes, and instead of judging one another, we should be helping and forgiving! We should strive to help eachother to be better muslims, we should be mirrors to one another!

The Prophet, sal Allahu Alayhi wa salam , said: "A believer is a mirror to another believer" (narrated by Abu Huraira—transmitted in Abu Dawud). When he sees a fault in it he should correct it.

"A mirror doesn't show you that you are worse than you actually are NOR better than you actually are. The mirror will show you what is good. It won't hit you or beat you. It won't force you to change rather leave the choice to you."

What type of mirror are you to your brother and sister?

Every moment is an Opportunity!

Take the first step and create a brighter future for yourself. Your faith will go up and down, but you stay patient and consistent. Allah is always there and will be, He is our Lord and our Guide. Turn to Allah and you will be saved in sha'Allah!

Allah Almighty says in the Qur'an: "When my servants ask you concerning me, ( tell them) I am indeed close (to them). I listen to the prayer of every suppliant when he calls on me." [2:186].

So call on Allah because He will never fail to help you. Alhamdulillah!

Then which of the favors (blessings) of your Lord do you deny?

Publicerad 2013-03-28 17:49:00 i The Scientific Miracles of the Qur'an,

When I studied medicine and different parts of the human body, I never stopped being amazed. And I will never stop being amazed by the work of Allah, the Almighty One!
The more knowledge I gained, the more greateful I was, and my Imaan increased as well as my love for Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala. And I often thought that it is impossible to even think that God doesn´t exist, ne'uzu billah! I mean how could some person deny its own exsistence!? That doesn´t make sense at all, does it? Because, according to me if you deny the Creator, you then deny the creation as well.

There is so much to tell about the human body, so much to learn about the perfect work created by the Perfect Creator. While I was studying I often wondered how come that so many of us are healthy. This maybe sounds strangde becase we know that there are many people out there struggling with different diseases every day (May Allah have mercy upon them and give them a good health). But if one considers how many functions/processes in the human body that could go wrong then this would probably make more sense. "So blessed be Allah, the Best of creators." (Surah Al- Mu’minun, vers 14)

In many of the verses in the holy Qur’an, people are called upon to consider their own creation. They are often reminded how man came into the world, which stages he has passed through, and what his essence is:

It is We Who have created you. Why, then, do you not accept the truth? Have you ever considered that [seed] which you emit? Is it you who create it? Or are We the Creator? (Qur'an, 56:57-59)

Sperm undertake a journey into the mother's body until they reach the ovum. Only a thousand out of 250 million sperm succeed in reaching the ovum. At the end of this five-minute race, the ovum, half the size of a grain of salt, will let only one of the sperms in. That is, the substance of man is not the whole semen, but only a small part of it. This is explained in the Surat al-Qiyama as follows:

Does man reckon he will be left uncontrolled [without purpose]? Was he not once a drop of ejected semen? (Qur'an, 75:36-37)

The fluid referred to as semen, which contains the sperm, does not consist of sperm alone. On the contrary, it is made up of a mixture of different fluids. Seminal fluid is a collection of substances secreted from the testicles, the seminal vesicles, the prostate gland and glands linked to the urinary tract. A detailed analysis of this fluid shows that it consists of a great many separate substances, such as citric acid, prostaglandin, flavin, ascorbic acid, ergothioneine, cholesterol, phospholipids, fibrinolysin, zinc, phosphatase acid, phosphase, hyaluronidase and sperm. These fluids exercise different functions, such as containing the sugar necessary for providing energy for the sperm, neutralizing the acids at the entrance of the uterus, and providing a slippery substance for the easy movement of the sperm.

When semen is mentioned in the Qur'an, this fact, which was discovered by modern science, is also referred to, and semen is defined as a mixed fluid:

We created man from a mingled drop to test him, and We made him hearing and seeing. (Qur'an, 76:2)

In other verses, semen is again referred to as a mixture, and it is stressed that man is created from the "extract" of this mixture:

He Who has created all things in the best possible way. He commenced the creation of man from clay; then He made his progeny from an extract of discarded fluid. (Qur'an, 32:7-8)

The Arabic word "sulala," translated as "extract," means the essential or best part of something. By either meaning, it refers to "part of a whole." This shows that the Qur'an is the Word of Allah, Who knows the creation of man to its minute details.

“THEN WHICH OF THE FAVORS (BLESSINGS) OF YOUR LORD DO YOU DENY?” (Surah Ar-Rahman).

So when Allah Subhaanahu wa Ta'ala , in His Infinite Wisdom, tests us with a situation that we think is difficult or takes away something that in our mind was good for us, we need to remember that perhaps it may not be so. Perhaps if we had continued in our way, it might have been harmful for us and whatever Allah decreed for us is actually better for us, for He is All-Wise and All-Knowing. Allah says:

'...and it may be that you dislike a thing which is good for you and that you like a thing which is bad for you. Allah knows but you do not know.' (Surah Baqarah: 216)

Dunya vs Paradise

Publicerad 2013-03-27 20:08:00 i By erme,

Every time I observe the creation, I am amazed! It is so perfect and beautiful, that it takes my breath away. I am not questioning its perfection, I mean how could I, when the Almighty, the Perfect One, our Lord created it. I cannot even describe the feeling of pleasure and joy that fills my heart when I think about Lord of Heavens and Earth, the Almighty One. "So blessed be Allah, the Best of creators." (Sura Al- Mu’minun, vers 14)

Think carefully about this world, its beauty and its perfection, and then try to imagine Paradise, subhan’Allah. It is not the easiest thing to do, is it?

When you observe the most beautiful places all over the world, that amazes people over and over again, it is difficult to even think that something more beautiful could exist. But dear sister and brother, it does! We cannot even compare dunya to what the Almighty have prepared for us in Paradise, in sha’Allah! “Then did you think that We created you uselessly (without any purpose) and that to Us you would not be returned?" (Sura Al- Mu’minun, vers 115)

Think and reflect carefully, and then hold that thought. Ask yourself if this world, where you only should see yourself as a traveler passing through, compared to the world hereafter is better. Never forget that “to Allah we belong and to Him we shall return!” What are you striving for, dunya or akhirat?

All the blessings our Lord has given us, everything that He provided us with, and still we don’t appreciate it, we don’t cherish it the way we should! Cherish every second in your life as if it could be your last. Be thankful, please your Lord and turn to Him before you return to Him! (It will be said to some) O' you serene soul! "Come back to your Lord well- pleased (with Him) and well- pleasing (Him)," (Sura Al- Fajr, verses 27 and 28)

Always remember Allah, be grateful and you will succeed insha’Allah! “Successful indeed are the believers”. ( Sura Al- Mu’minun, vers 1)
